ARC by Pivotal Physiotherapy Enter Agreement With Thunder Athletics

EDMONTON, AB (October 24, 2022) – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder athletics department is pleased to announce a new 2-year partnership agreement with ARC by Pivotal Physiotherapy.

The new partnership began in August 2022 and will span until April 2024 with the opportunity to renew the agreement in the future. Working with all 12 Thunder athletics programs, ARC by Pivotal will become the official physiotherapy, strength & conditioning, and recovery session provider. This partnership is part of the Thunder athletic department’s commitment to the health of student-athletes and helping them excel in sport.

“Being able to add a physiotherapy provider like ARC to the department is a huge opportunity that I am thrilled about” commented CUE Director of Athletics & Recreation Nate MacLellan. “Their first-class facilities and versatile team offer our student-athletes the best opportunity to recover, strengthen, and improve. Their commitment not only to the current success of our student-athletes, but also the overall and long-term health is in-line with our department’s goals.”

Speaking on the partnership, ARC by Pivotal owner and physiotherapist Jack Haworth mentioned “ARC by Pivotal Physiotherapy is delighted to be an official partner of CUE Thunder student-athletes. Our goal is to keep student-athletes healthy and happy and minimize the amount of time spent on the sidelines during the season. We utilize traditional physio techniques, strength and conditioning coaches and recovery science protocols to ensure we can support each athlete in their injury, recovery, and performance development.”
