Victory on the Greens: CUE's Success at the 2023 ACAC Golf Championship

In a display of excellence at the 2023 ACAC Golf Championship held at Alberta Springs Golf Resort in Red Deer, Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) made their mark:

Men's Individual Results

  • Riley Higdon and Hayden Prins showcased exceptional talent, each carding impressive scores of 70 during the tournament's third round.

  • Riley Higdon concluded all three rounds with a total score of 217, securing a well-deserved position among the top performers.

Women's Individual Results

  • Ella Gifford continued her impressive run, maintaining her lead in the women's leaderboard with unwavering determination. She finished with a total of 236 strokes over the course of three rounds.

Team Results

  • CUE's men's team secured the silver medal with a cumulative score of +44.

  • Among the women's teams, Concordia/CUE maintained their top position with an impressive combined score of +88.

In a tournament filled with talent and determination, Concordia University of Edmonton's golf team left a lasting mark on the world of collegiate golf, showcasing their unwavering skill and commitment to excellence. Congratulations to the Thunder golf athletes for their outstanding performance at the 2023 ACAC Golf Championship. Next up, qualifying teams from across Canada will head to the CCAA National Golf Championships to compete for the ultimate title from October 16-20th.
