Turcotte Named CCAA All-Canadian at Nationals

MEDICINE HAT, AB - OCT 15, 2018

On Monday night the Thunder Golf team was in attendance at the CCAA National Golf Championships awards banquet in Medicine Hat, AB. Kennedy Turcotte was named CCAA All-Canadian for her achievements this year. All-Canadians are student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team.

In her first season with the Thunder, Turcotte earned an individual silver medal as well as bronze in the team event at the ACAC Championships. Turcotte, who also plays badminton at Concordia, is an excellent student-athlete who is dedicated to improving. She gives her time with fundraisers and community events at Concordia and has also volunteered as a curling and volleyball coach in Falher, AB.

Kennedy is making her first appearance at CCAA National Championships and we are very excited to watch her play this week.

Congratulations Kennedy! We look forward to watching you excel with the Thunder golf program for many years to come!
