Turcotte Sisters Named CCAA All-Canadians

The Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) is proud to announce the 2019 CCAA Women’s Golf All-Canadians.

The student-athletes, who are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team, were honoured at a banquet during the 2019 CCAA Golf National Championships, hosted by Cégep André-Laurendeau, in Sorel-Tracy, QC.

 

Kassidy Turcotte:

After Top 5 finishes at the ACAC North & South Regionals, Turcotte peaked at the right time, earning individual gold at the conference championships. The ACAC Player of the Year also led the Thunder to the team title at the ACAC Championships. As a fifth-year golfer, Turcotte has been an excellent leader at Concordia and has been an amazing ambassador for the institution.

 

Kennedy Turcotte:

In her second season with the Thunder, Turcotte teamed up with her sister to capture gold in the team event at the ACAC Championships. The two-time CCAA All-Canadian placed first individually at the ACAC North & South Regionals and earned a silver medal at the conference championships. Turcotte is gaining confidence in her ability and growing into a leader at Concordia.

The Thunder women's golf team is hopeful to come home with a CCAA championship banner however they will be in tough competitng agains the nations best in the four day tournament in Sorel-Tracy, QC.
