Milestone night for Brett Jakubec, reaching 1000 career points

EDMONTON, AB – This Saturday night your boy's put on a clinic! Taking an early lead against the visiting Augustana Vikings and extending their winning streak to 8 games and maintaining their first place spot in the North Division. The final score put the Thunder up by nearly 70 points and finished 115-47.

Today was a big game for #5 Brett Jakubec who reached the 1000-point milestone with a game high 21 points! The countdown began late in the 4^th quarter and Brett went on a run to hit the 1000 points with less than a minute left in the game.

The Thunder will be competing in their last home game next weekend against Lakeland and hopefully finish their season on top.
