Thunder fall to visiting Huskies

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder took on the Keyano Huskies to finish off their weekend series. Although the Thunder have solidified their first place finish, the Huskies have walked away with a series split after their win tonight. The final score was 91-62 for the Huskies.

The Huskies were point-for-point in the first half, the Thunder had the lead for the first, but in the dying seconds in the second quarter, the Huskies took the lead and hit a big three to head to the dressing room up 36-34. The 3^rd and 4^th quarters were dominated by the Huskies, outscoring the Thunder 55 to 28, to take the lead and walk away with the win.

The Thunder will be having their buy week next week, while the Huskies will be taking on UAA Vikings. The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Huskies is #121 Stefan Jovcic and the Thunder was #13 Julien McFadden.
