Challenging Night for Concordia: Northwestern Polytechnic Clinches Victory in 3 Sets

The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder Men's Volleyball faced a formidable challenge against the Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves, ultimately falling short with a 3-set loss with scores of 25-19, 25-19, and 25-18. The Wolves demonstrated dominance throughout the match, making it tough on Concordia to break through.

Alexi Dufour, a key player for the Thunder, provided the team with 9 kills and 2 aces, attempting to ignite the team's offense. Kai Rosnau exhibited excellent playmaking skills, providing 24 assists to his teammates, and contributing to the Thunder's offensive attempts. Defensively, Tyson Assaly and Noah Michalczuk put up a strong front with 2 blocks each.

Northwestern Polytechnic showcased exceptional performance in every aspect of the game, boasting a strong attack, precise serves, and effective blocking. Concordia struggled to find openings, facing a relentless opponent. Justice Bigstone and Chad Morrison stood out for the Wolves with an impressive 8 kills each, contributing significantly to the team's efforts. Setter Carter Tuttle distributed the ball effectively, leading the Wolves with 19 assists.

CUE's Men's Volleyball team will look to bounce back as they face the Wolves once more at home tomorrow, January 20th.
