Thunder fall to visiting Eagles

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder played host to the visiting King's University Eagles in the last game of 2018. The King's University leads their division with 20 points and has won 9 of their last 10 games. The Thunder were looking to make a push for a playoff spot. The King's University defeated the home team 3 sets to 0.

The first place King's came out swinging and didn't let up for all three sets needed to lock down the win. The Eagles took the first set 25-10, the Thunder had better rhythm in the following sets, but were unable to rack up 20 points in a set.

This will be the last game of 2018 for both teams and will be taking a few weeks off for their winter break. The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting kings is #6 Sydney Warchola and for the Thunder was #3 Kayla Whiteman Kyte.
