EDMONTON AB – Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder played host to the visiting Grand Prairie Regional College (GPRC) Wolves. The Wolves took an early lead, but the Thunder answered back and walked away with a 7-1 win. The Wolves had the lead for roughly 6 minutes, then the Thunder started firing back and ended the half strong with two quick goals, which made walking into the second half much easier for the home team.
The Thunder picked up right where the left off in the first half, applying the pressure and kept pelting the Wolves goalie with shots from all over.
The Big Kahuna Player of the game for the visiting Wolves was #22 Leah Hedges and for the home team #8 Tarah Pliska.
