Thunder faceoff against visiting Huskies

EDMONTON AB – Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) 6-1-2 played the visiting Keyano Huskies 1-4-4 in the second last game of the season. Not much movement in the rankings was able to be done with the Thunder, as they will finish the season in second place, but the Huskies have potential to solidify their 4^th place finish tomorrow against Kings College.

Concordia beat the Huskies 2-1 in this back and forth battle on a sunny Edmonton day. The Thunder opened up the scoring late in the first to give them a lead going into the dressing room. Halfway through the second half the Huskies tied it up at 1 and would remain a 1-1 game till the dying minutes of the second half. Concordia potted the game winner in the 87^th minute of the game, giving them the win.

This will be the last time these two teams faceoff this season and Keyano will be staying in Edmonton to finish their season tomorrow.
