Thunder Take down Eagles in the home opener

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder took on the visiting Kings Eagles in this years home opener. The Thunder walked away with the victory and split the home-at-home weekend series 1-1.

The Thunder and the Eagles were neck in neck after the first half, walking into the 3^rd quarter 35-32 for the Thunder. The 3^rd quarter the Thunder started showing up and getting solid offensive streaks separating the gap and finally finishing off the Eagles in the 4^th, with a final score of 76-68. The first win for the Thunder was in front of the home crowd cheering at the top of their lungs.

The Kahunaverse Players Of the Game for the visiting Eagles was #3 Damien Fulp and for the Thunder was #15 Ronald Bacon Jr.
