EDMONTON, AB – On Friday night the Concordia Thunder dropped the first match of the weekend 3 sets to 1 (25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17) against the visiting Keyano Huskies.
#02 Reagan Toth led the way offensively for the Huskies with a team high 38 assists, while on defense, #12 Sydney Svicenec had 12 digs. The Thunder offense was powered by #09 Tianna Smith and #17 Victoria Johnstone who each had 12 kills. On the Defensive side, #08 Shae McDonald had a team high of 28 digs.
The Big Kahuna players of the game were #09 Tianna Smith (CUE) and #02 Reagan Toth (KC). Both teams will face each other in Game #2 tomorrow afternoon at Concordia University of Edmonton.
