EDMONTON, AB – On Saturday afternoon the Thunder responded well from a previous night's loss with a 3 set to 1 victory over the Huskies. (25-27, 25-18, 26-24, 28-30)
Offensively, #06 Kally L'Heureux led the Huskies with 9 kills, while on defense #11 Kashtin Low's team high 22 digs was not enough to stop the rolling Thunder. #09 Tianna Smith and #04 Julia Heupel led the Thunder offense with a combined 23 kills.
The Big Kahuna players of the game were #05 Anika Bessette (CUE) and #11 Kashtin Low(KC). After the first half of the season the Thunder sit at 2W-10L and the Huskies 2W-9L.
