Leroy Breaks ACAC Single Season Dig Record

Leroy Breaks ACAC Single Season Dig Record

Saturday night was a special night for the Thunder Men's Volleyball team. Their 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-17) victory over the Augustana Vikings gave the Thunder their first playoff birth in ACAC history.

Additionally, fourth year Libero #06 Damien Leroy set the ACAC Single Season dig record with 339 digs. The previous record was held by Cam Gelderman who had 337 digs while playing for the King's Eagles during the 2014-15 season.

Head Coach Lucas Jacobson spoke highly of the fourth year from Calgary, AB "Damien has been a top end libero in our league the past two season and it's nice to see him continue to produce the way he has and help our team get to a new level this year"

The Thunder have little time to rest as they travel to Medicine Hat on February 21st for the team's first ACAC Championship appearance.
