EDMONTON, AB (November 5th, 2022) – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder hosted the Rattlers' for their first game against MHC. The game took a turn after the first set and led Thunder to win three consecutive sets after losing the first.

The first set had many ties and lead changes, the biggest lead at the very end of the set with the Rattlers taking it 25-20, credit to lots of soft touches for points. Concordia takes an early lead in the second set 9-3 credit to Rhees Moss with several solid serves. For the majority of this set, the Thunder will keep a lead between three to six. They will take the second set 25-20 to tie it up one set to one. Similar to the second set, Concordia establishes a lead early on. The game being tied only a couple of times the Thunder maintains at least a one-point lead for most of the game. Concordia takes the third set 25-21 to go up 2-1. The game continues at a fast pace in the fourth set. Thunder amassed a whopping 10-point lead later, with multiple players setting perfect blocks and kills.
