On Friday night the Thunder hosted the Keyano Huskies where they were defeated 3-0 (25-13, 25-15, 25-15) in their first meeting of the season.
The top ranked team in the North was on full display when they held a strong lead in all three sets. #04 Justin Delorme led the Huskies offense with 10 kills while on defense #03 Kelly Woods provide 7 digs with 29 assists.
The Thunder offense was powered by #17 Keenan Forstey (7 kills) and Trecito Gansan (10 assist). On defense, # 06 Damian Leroy and #15 Wyatt Turnbell each were able to come up with 6 digs.
The ACAC Players of the Game were #04 Justin Delorme (10 Kills) for the Huskies and #15 Wyatt Turnbell (6 kills, 6 digs) for the Thunder.
These teams will face off against each other once again tomorrow afternoon at Concordia University of Edmonton (3:00PM).
