Thunder push it to 4th set, but Huskies walk away with the W

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) played host to the visiting Keyano Huskies. This is the second time these teams faced off this weekend and the Huskies got the better of the Thunder in both matches. The Thunder rallied together in the 3rd to push the Huskies to a 4th set, but it just delayed the win, as the Huskies won the 4th and final set  25-12.

The Thunder started out strong, but the Huskies kept pushing and got the better of the Thunder in the first two sets. The 3rd set was back and forth and extra points were needed to decide whether or not a 4th set will be needed, ultimately the Thunder came out on top and pushed the Huskies to a 4th. The Huskies however came out strong and finished the final set in quick fashion.

Next weekend the Thunder will step up against Lakeland and Keyano will have the week off. The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the Thunder was #15 Wyatt Turnbell with a team high 7 kills and for the Huskies #5 Radoslaw Brzozowski with a team high 14 kills.
