Thunder fall to visiting Ooks in a 4 set game

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder were looking to even the weekend series against the Ooks in tonight's game. The win extended the Ooks winning streak to 9 games putting them in the second spot in the standings. The Thunder are making their way to catch up to Lakeland who are 6 points ahead of them.

The Ooks took the first set to open up the game with a score of 25-18, the Thunder came out a little rusty, but was able to shake off that rust for the second set, winning 25-22 to tie the series up at 1 a piece. The Ooks came out and dominated the 3rd set, winning 25-16. The Ooks took the 4th and final set with a score of 25-22, back and forth action and the Ooks just managed to pull away scoring straight points to put an end to the fight.

The Big Kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Ooks was #9 Daniel Ward and for the Thunder was #11 Carson Hilburn. Next weekend the Ooks will take on Keyano, and the Thunder will take on The Kings University.
