Ooks take down the Thunder in a 4 set match

EDMONTON AB – The Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE) Thunder fell to the visiting NAIT Ooks in a 4 set match.

The Thunder came out ready to win, with a starting line up change, putting graduating player #4 Kyle Klein in and he excelled with a couple blocks and some huge kills keeping the Thunder alive and pushing the Ooks to extra points, ending the set, 28-26 for the Ooks. The Thunder came to the second set with the same ferocity in the first and ended up edging the Ooks and tying the series up at 1. The Ooks came out with two big wins in the next sets awarding them the W.

Tomorrow night the Thunder and the Ooks will face off again to finish off their home-at-home weekend series and the Thunder and looking to even the score, as it will be their last opportunity in the regular season. The Big kahuna Player of the Game for the visiting Ooks was #4 Devon Klein and for the Thunder was #6 Damien Leroy.
