Playing in 18 games for the Thunder, Moss had a truly remarkable season as he helped the Thunder achieve their second playoff berth in program history. Moss recorded an incredible 440 assists in his first season, good enough to finish in the top five in the ACAC's North Division and top 10 in the entire conference. Moss also finished in the top five in the ACAC in assists per set, averaging 7.21.

"Rhees has had an extraordinary first season for the Thunder both on and off the court. He has brought a ton of passion, energy and skill since he's joined the program and it shows in the men's volleyball team heading back to the playoffs. This is an incredible honour for Rhees to achieve in his first season, and I look forward to seeing him develop further as a student-athlete. The future is bright! Congratulations, Rhees!"

Moss is in the first year of his Bachelor of Science degree and calls St. Albert, Alberta home.

This prestigious award will be recognized at the 2023 ACAC Men's Volleyball Championship hosted by Keyano College in Fort McMurray, AB.
