Thunder Defeat City Rivals Ooks

EDMONTON, AB - On Friday night Concordia played host to their city rival NAIT. Thunders #06 Jordan Lembryk led the Thunder with a team high 17 points, contributing to a 61-56 victory.

The Thunder held the lead for three straight quarters until the Ooks made a late push in the fourth. In addition to her offensive support of 13 points, #08 Sofia Lucadello for the Thunder also had a team high of 12 rebounds and 3 steals. 

#05 Kika Greenlee had a team high of 11 points for the Ooks while on defense #11 Margreat Idi had a team high of 12 rebounds.

The Thunder improve to a 9-4 record and are tied for 2nd place in the north division while the Ooks drop to a 8-5 record. The two teams will face each other again Saturday night at NAIT.
