Tough outing for the Thunder against visiting Vikings

EDMONTON, AB – On Saturday night the Thunder hosted the Augustana Vikings. After falling behind early in the first quarter, the Thunder struggled to put up points to offset the Vikings lead. The Vikings offence was lead by #7 Torey Lauber, contributing 22 points and went 100% in 3-point attempts and lead her team in steals with 3.

The Thunder struggled to find their offence and only made 2 3-pointers out of 22 attempts. The Thunder had more steals than the Vikings, but were unable to capitalize on the attempts. Offence was lead by #10 Shayanna Walton with 11 points and was tied with #11 Morgan Dool for steals.

The players of the game were from the Vikings, #7 Torey Lauber and for your Thunder #9 Ann Ulmer.

With this loss the Thunder fall to a record of 14-8 but are holding the 3rd spot in the North division. Next weekend the Thunder will be closing out the season against the Lakeland Rustlers.
