Thunder Fall to Vikings After a Tough Fourth Quarter

(EDMONTON, AB) Looking to keep up in the playoff race, the Concordia Thunder Women's Basketball team faced a tough matchup against the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings, resulting in a 66-57 defeat. Despite a spirited effort on Senior's Night, the Thunder fell short in a closely contested match.

Fiveland secured an impressive 8 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 5 blocks, showcasing her versatility and impact on the court. Mackenzie Mrazik's scoring proficiency added valuable points to the board, leading the team with 15 points. Despite facing challenges in the first half of the game, the Vikings rallied together 4th quarter to go on a 28-4 run, ultimately securing the victory.

Concordia showcased resilience throughout the game. Rachel Harvey displayed remarkable scoring capabilities, accumulating 18 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Thunder.
