Tournaments

Tournaments are one day competitions for students looking to get invovled in recreation on campus on a short term basis. Tournaments can last a couple hours to a full day depending on the sport and size. See below for all the current recreation tournaments happening at CUE.

CUE + NAIT Soccer Tournament

For the first time, Concordia and NAIT will host a combined recreational soccer tournament for students from both schools to come together for a great day of soccer. This will be a 11 vs. 11 (10 players + 1 goalkeeper) single elimination event, using the entire field. Current varsity soccer athletes will not be allowed to join this tournament. Players will only be allowed to join 1 team for this tournament. Deadline to register is Friday Setpember 24th. This is a recreational tournament with all skill levels and abilities welcomed!

When: Sunday October 5th - game schedule is pending

Where: Concordia Soccer Field (on campus)

Cost: $50 per team

Registration:

Each team must select a Team Captain to fill out their registration. Team Captains must join through IMLeagues via /Concordia_NAIT_Soccer_Tournament/Soccer/Concordia_NAIT_Soccer_Tournament

Once a minimum of 11 players join your roster, you will be able to proceed with payment. All participants must be CUE students. This tournament registration will be on a first come, first serve basis as there are limited team spots available.

If you are an individual player without a team and looking to find a team, register as a free agent. If you are selected to a team, recreation staff will send you an email with which team you are joining, who is your team captain, and steps to process your free agent payment of $5.
