Bio

Originally from Welland, ON, Nate MacLellan attended Brock University where he holds a Bachelor of Sport Management (Honours) degree. Additionally, he graduated from Memorial University with a Master’s of Human Kinetics & Recreation degree in 2022.

Prior to transitioning into the Director role at Concordia University of Edmonton in 2021, Nate moved to Edmonton, AB in 2014 to work at CUE in the Athletics & Recreation department taking on various roles such as the Game Day and Events Coordinator, Program and Sport Information Coordinator, and Student Experience Coordinator. During that time, he also spent 7 years working for Judo Alberta in a leadership role as the Executive Director.
