NAIT Ooks Thunderstruck: Concordia's Dominant Performance Secures Win

In a thrilling Battle of Edmonton matchup at Clareview Rec Center, the Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder secured a 5-3 victory over the NAIT Ooks. The game showcased back-and-forth action, staying tied until the Thunder unleashed an offensive surge in the third period.

The clash lived up to its anticipation, with both teams hungry for a win. The first two periods saw a deadlock, each team matching the other's goals. NAIT's Bryce Osepchuk and Concordia's Dallon Wilton highlighted the first period with their respective goals.

As the intensity escalated, the Thunder's offensive skill took center stage. Isaac Leik, Zachery Carlson, and Zachary Cunningham contributed crucial goals, overpowering NAIT's defense. Dallon Wilton and Carson Kurylo also found the net, securing the Thunder's lead. The defense held firm, denying the Ooks any third-period comeback.

The Concordia University of Edmonton Thunder emerged triumphant with a 5-3 victory in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats. The Thunder's offensive prowess and resilient defense proved instrumental in securing the win.

With this victory, the Thunder aims to carry the momentum into tomorrow's game on Ooks home ice. Next weekend, the Thunder return home to take on the Augustana Vikings Friday night at Clareview.
