Thunder Men's Volleyball 2024/25 Season Preview

Thunder Men’s Volleyball season is right around the corner. After a year finishing 6th in the ACAC North Division, the program is looking to bounce back in a big way. Health will be an important factor as key injuries throughout last season tested the team's depth.

More than half the team is coming back to lead the group to new heights. Outside Hitters Kurt Niehoff and Alexi Dufour headline a group of veterans that are pushing for a playoff berth. Adding to the mix is 8 first year players. Look for Setter Hasit Desai to become an integral part of this group as the season moves along.

“We have an experienced core group of guys coming back to the team complimented by a strong rookie class. We love being the underdogs and are ready to shock the league. I’m confident in what this team can achieve and our ability to compete,” Dufour commented.

Men’s Volleyball opens their year with a home and home against The King’s University Eagles. First game of the season is Friday October 25th at King’s, followed by their home opener on Saturday October 26th.
