October 20th & 21st Soccer Games Moved to Clareview
EDMONTON, AB - October 16, 2018
Dear Thunder Fans,
Due to some of the weather we have had this fall, CUE made the decision to move our remaining home games to the Clareview Community Recreation Centre (3804 139 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5Y 3G4) on the turf field.
Please note that the game times for Saturday's matches between CUE and Keyano will remain the same as originally scheduled:
- Women: 12:00 PM kick off; field and locker room access will be at 11:00 AM
- Men: 2:00 PM kick off
Please note that the game times for Sunday's matches between CUE and NAIT will remain the same as originally scheduled:
- Women: 12:00 PM kick off; field and locker room access will be at 11:00 AM
- Men: 2:00 PM kick off
One item of note if you don't mind informing your players/parents, is the City of Edmonton has a very strict policy when it comes to spectators entering the playing field at any time (eg. after a game) - we have had an issue with this in the past and I kindly ask you to remind your spectators to wait in the bleachers or off to the side/end of the venue on the cement walkway rather than entering the turf field at any time. In the case that this happens, those spectators will be asked to leave the venue immediately. This is for the safety of our student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and spectators themselves.
