Thank You Dylan Theroux!

It is with regret that the Thunder Athletics department announce that Dylan Theroux has officially stepped down from his position as Head Coach of the curling team. Dylan has been working in the security sector for the past couple years and will embark on his training this fall as a Peace Officer with future plans to continue on into EPS or the RCMP. Unfortunately, due to his work schedule, he will be unable to continue as a head coach here at Concordia.

 

During Dylan's two years at CUE, he saw tremendous success within the curling program, earning 3 ACAC conference championship banners (Women's Gold 2016-17; Mixed Gold 2016-17, Men's Gold 2017-18) which led to the women's team earning a CCAA silver medal in 2017 and the men's team qualifying for nationals in 2018.

 

We would like to thank Dylan for his contributions to our program and wish him all the best in his future endeavors as he embarks on a new career.

 

The search for a new coach will begin immediately.
